Kestrel 5000 SL SRAM RED Triathlon Road Bike – 2017

800K high modulus carbon fiber, Kestrel’s lightest carbon construction used to date
Traditional Oval Concepts handlebar and stem interface allow for easy adjustment and customization
The stays, seat post, and seat tube are aerodynamically contoured

Kestrel introduced the primary ever all-carbon race bike in 1987. Since then, the engineers at Kestrel have managed to take care of industry standards with constant innovation to create one of the crucial world’s fastest race bikes. Introducing the Kestrel 5000, a purposefully-designed superbike that may be Kestrel’s fastest up to now. Constructed of an all new 800K top modulus carbon fiber, the lightest and strongest frame conceivable, the 5000 is designed for competitive triathletes searching for a proven tri-specific weapon with superior aerodynamics that supply optimum comfort and adjustability. The 5000’s geometry is perfect for the demands of long-distance triathlons, with a moderately shorter most sensible tube for a more upright riding position to stay the legs fresh and powerful for the run. SRAM RED components compliment this 5000 version with some of the lightest mechanical groupsets available in the market. SRAM RED 11-speed shifters use SRAM’s DoubleTap system with one lever, where a brief inward push will move the chain onto a smaller ring and an extended inward push will move the chain within the other direction. Easy and effective, DoubleTap be offering’s smooth and simple shifting.Features: 800K top modulus carbon fiber, Kestrel’s lightest carbon construction used up to now Traditional Oval Concepts handlebar and stem interface permit for simple adjustment and customization The stays, seat post, and seat tube are aerodynamically contoured Fully internal cable routing ensures clean airflow over all the bike TRP Aero bakes supply reliable stopping power and very good aerodynamics EMS Professional Aero Seatpost lets in for the saddle to be mounted in a variety of positions PF30 bottom bracket offers a stiff pedaling platform
